First Call Care Services

First Call Care Services Limited evolved from a number of health care professionals coming together to form a distinctly different service for individuals wishing to receive continuing care in their own homes.

Based in Billericay, South Essex

We have developed services which are tailored to meet the individual needs of the person. Enabling the person to leave hospital or a nursing home with a team of staff who have received specific training with the person prior to discharge, being involved with the person's care pathway, and assisting a safe and timely discharge back into the community.

The Aim of the Service

1. To provide a service that allows individuals to maintain a good quality of life in their own home, maintain their safety and encourage independence for as long as possible.
2. To provide the appropriate disability management, aid in behaviour management and encourage use of functional abilities.
3. To work with all others involved in the person's care to develop and provide person centred care plans regardless of their needs and presentation.
4. To support social and community integration working with individuals to achieve realistic goals

Highly Skilled Staff

In general, all staff are trained by the discharging hospital, nursing home and/or rehabilitation centre. Competencies are adhered to and all staff are assessed and monitored by our Adult General Nurse Manager or Paedriatric Nurse Manager. All field training is based on the competencies and the training is completed by the appropriate Nurse Manager. Further and ongoing training packages are provided by our Training Manager.
